Columbia University Medical Center needed a website for its Children’s Oncology unit that made the user experience of care seekers easy and reassuring. The site needed to reflect the expertise of the unit without missing the very personal, kid-friendly care they offer. By featuring large, warm photos of real patients and physicians, the site emphasizes compassion and experience while staying consistent with Columbia’s brand elements and blue color palette. The simplified, responsive design prioritizes intuitive navigation so that users can find any information they need quickly and easily.
